The operation of steam turbines can mainly save energy and reduce consumption from five aspects.


1. Improve the vacuum of steam turbines in power plants


The steam turbine can only be operated under the best vacuum to ensure that the vacuum pump and the water pump are in the optimal configuration. Therefore, in the daily operation process, it is necessary to reasonably grasp the start-up and running time of the second vacuum pump and the circulating water pump, and carry out timely according to the situation. Start and stop, effectively improve the vacuum degree of steam turbine operation, and ensure the maximum economic benefit of the power plant.


2. Control the temperature of steam turbine feed water

(1) Leak detection of heaters when the unit is repaired

Pay attention to check the tightness of the high heater cylinder and the partition of the water chamber, especially the heater steel pipe, to see if there are any leaks. Once the leaks are found, they should be eliminated as soon as possible to avoid serious accidents. If the tightness of the high heater cylinder is poor, the heat exchange efficiency between steam and water will be greatly reduced, and some steam short circuits will occur, which will have a serious impact on the feed water temperature. If the partition of the water chamber is poorly sealed, a short bypass will occur and the feed water temperature will be lower.

(2) Guarantee high investment rate

When the unit is started and stopped, it is necessary to strengthen the effective control of the sliding parameter start and stop, and also to ensure the stability of the high fill water level, do a good job in operation and maintenance, reduce the occurrence of heat exchange tube leakage, and timely conduct the sediment Remove, reduce fouling, and strive to increase the investment rate.


3. Strengthen the operation management of steam turbines

During the operation of the steam turbine, a fixed-sliding operation mode can be adopted. It is to change the flow area under the high load area. Under low load, use low level constant pressure regulation. In the intermediate load area, the load is increased or decreased according to the actual situation, so that the valve switch is in the sliding pressure operation state. In order to increase the feed water temperature and input rate, and reduce the heater terminal difference, the main steam temperature and main steam pressure of the steam turbine should be appropriately increased during high-load operation.


4. Maintain the best vacuum of the steam turbine condenser

Keep the condensate level at a reasonable position and ensure good sealing of the steam turbine unit. Clean the scale in the copper tube of the condenser in time, strictly control the quality of the circulating water, and ensure that the copper tube has a high heat exchange efficiency.


5. Shutdown of steam turbine

During the operation of the steam turbine, whether it is a normal shutdown or an unplanned shutdown, the sliding parameters are used as much as possible to stop, which is not only conducive to the maintenance of the equipment, effectively ensuring the reduction of equipment temperature, but also can effectively use the waste heat to carry out Power generation, reducing energy loss.
