Knowledge of the Role of Professional System Equipment for Steam Turbines

1. The condensing equipment is mainly composed of condenser, circulating water pump, steam extractor, condensate pump, etc
(1) Establish and maintain a high vacuum at the exhaust port of the steam turbine.
(2) The exhaust steam of the steam turbine is condensed into water, and then sent by the condensation pump to the recuperation heater to become the feed water supplied to the boiler. In addition, there is also a certain vacuum deoxygenation.
2. Condenser cooling water function:
The exhaust vapor is condensed into water to absorb the heat released by the condensation of the exhaust vapor.
3. The role of the heater trap:
Reliably drains water from the heater and prevents steam from escaping.
4. The function of the shaft seal heater:
Shaft seal leakage is recovered to heat condensate to reduce shaft seal leakage and heat loss, and to improve the environmental conditions of the workshop.
5. The function of condensate bypass of low-pressure heater:
When a heater fails or one of the heaters is deactivated, the main condensate is not interrupted.

6. The function of the heater to install the exhaust air door:
In order to prevent the air from forming an air film on the surface of the copper pipe, the thermal resistance increases, and the heat transfer effect of the heater is seriously affected, thereby reducing the heat exchange efficiency, so the exhaust door is installed.
7. The function of the water-side protection device of the high-pressure heater:
When the high-pressure heater fails or the tube ruptures, the feed water to the heater bundle can be quickly cut off, and the water supply to the boiler can be guaranteed at the same time.
8. The role of the deaerator:
It is used to remove oxygen and other gases in the boiler feed water to ensure the quality of the feed water. At the same time, it can heat the feed water and increase the feed water temperature.
9. The purpose of setting the water seal cylinder of the deaerator:
Ensure that the deaerator does not have an accident where the water is full and flows into other equipment. Prevent deaerator overpressure.
10. The role of the deaerator tank:
Store the feed water and balance the difference between the amount of water supplied by the feed pump to the boiler and the amount of water sent to the deaerator by the condensate pump, so as to meet the needs of the boiler feed water.
11. The function of the deaerator reboiling tube:
It is conducive to heating the feed water in the water tank and maintaining the water temperature of the backup water tank before the unit starts. It is beneficial to improve the deoxygenation effect during normal operation.
12. The function of the hydraulic check valve:
It is used to prevent the backflow of liquids in pipes.
13. The function of the safety valve:
A valve that guarantees the safety of equipment.
14. The role of pipe support and hanger:
Fix the pipe, and bear the weight of the pipe itself, the fluid in the pipe, and the weight of the insulation material.

15. Feed Pump:
Feed water with sufficient pressure, flow rate and equivalent temperature is continuously supplied to the boiler.
16. The role of the circulating water pump:
It is mainly used to provide cooling water to the condenser of the steam turbine, condense the steam exhaust from the steam turbine that enters the condenser, and also provide cooling water to the oil cooler, generator cooler, etc.
17. The function of the air pipe of the condensate pump:
The air that has accumulated in the pump is discharged.
18. The role of the desuperheater and pressure reducer:
It is used for compensating for heating heating peak shaving.
19. The function of the decompression device:
(1) In the external heating system, it is used to supplement the shortage of steam extraction of the steam turbine, and can also be used as a backup steam source.
(2) When the unit starts and stops or fails, it can play the role of regulation and protection.
(3) It can be used as a steam source for low-pressure steam for factory use. (4) It is used to recover the exhaust steam of boiler ignition.
20. The role of the steam turbine:
A rotary prime mover that uses water vapor with a certain temperature and pressure as the medium to convert thermal energy into mechanical energy.

21. The role of the cylinder:
The flow part of the turbine is separated from the atmosphere to form a closed vapor chamber where steam heat energy is converted into mechanical energy.
22. The role of the steam seal:
Reduces steam leakage from the cylinder and prevents outside air from leaking into the cylinder.
23. The role of the exhaust cylinder:
The steam discharged from the final blades of the steam turbine is poured into the condenser.
24. The function of the exhaust cylinder water spray device:
In order to prevent the cylinder deformation caused by the high exhaust temperature, the consistency of the centerline of the static part of the turbine is destroyed, and the unit vibration or other accidents are caused.
25. The function of the upper exhaust valve of the low-pressure cylinder:
In the event of an accident, if the pressure in the low-pressure cylinder exceeds the atmospheric pressure, it will automatically open and discharge steam to the air to prevent damage to the low-pressure cylinder, condenser, and rotor of the low-pressure section due to overpressure.

26. The role of the impeller:
It is used to install the blades and transmit the torque generated by the steam flow force on the blade grid to the spindle.
27. The function of the balance hole on the impeller:
In order to reduce the vapor pressure difference between the two sides of the impeller, the excessive axial force generated by the rotor is reduced.
28. The role of leaf roots:
Tighten the rotor blade so that it will not be pulled out of the groove of the rim under the thrust of the steam flow and the centrifugal force of the rotation.
29. The function of the sliding pin system:
(1) Ensure that the cylinder can expand freely to avoid deformation caused by excessive stress.
(2) Keep the final cause of the cylinder and rotor consistent, and avoid the center change caused by the expansion of the body, causing the vibration of the unit or the friction between movement and static.
(3) Make the axial and radial clearance of the stator and rotor meet the requirements.
30. Support bearing, also known as radial bearing or main bearing:
Support the rotor weight and the centrifugal force caused by the unbalanced rotor mass, and determine the radial position of the rotor so that its center is consistent with the center of the cylinder.
