Diagnosis and maintenance analysis of Hydro Power Plant failure
The significance of preventive maintenance
In general, equipment maintenance technology is divided into three categories: failure maintenance after the occurrence of the failure (post-mortem maintenance), preventive maintenance for periodic breakdown inspection, and predictive maintenance (predicted maintenance) for prediction and processing based on diagnostic data. These are from a narrow sense to talk about the meaning of preventive maintenance. In a broad sense, preventive maintenance also includes the prevention of faults, the location and cause of faults, early recovery methods and methods, safe operation and reset operations. The following is intended to outline related technologies in a broad sense.
The purpose of preventive maintenance
The purpose of preventive maintenance is roughly divided into three aspects: improvement of economy, improvement of technical ability and improvement of quality (reliability).
(1) Economic improvement
It is designed to prevent accidents from happening, or in the event of an accident, the downtime of the equipment can be shortened due to early detection and the operation of the equipment can be improved. In addition, avoid unnecessary unnecessary repairs and seek their optimization to reduce repair costs.
(2) Improvement of technical performance
In response to the reduction of skilled overhauls, the system brings together the skills of various skilled overhauls to play a role, removes the differences between people's individual questions, and develops from only intuitive judgment to quantitative analysis.
(3) Improvement of quality (reliability)
Prevent sudden accidents, or use early detection to ensure safety and improve reliability in the event of an emergency.
System Components
The outline of the structure of the preventive maintenance system for hydropower stations is described below. The structure of the system is roughly divided into a centralized monitoring device (central office) in the control station and individual monitoring devices (sub-stations) in each power station connected by a modem (transmission device). The branch office is further divided into a sensor unit for measuring state, a CPU unit for performing arithmetic processing, and a keyboard. The three parts of the human-machine dialogue department such as CRT. The main office is also divided into two parts: the CPU department and the man-machine dialogue department.
